The Ohio StateMen’s Track Team has added a big feather to its cap by capturing the Big Ten indoor title.
It’s been awhile but the streak is over.
Today, the men’s track and field team took the indoor Big Ten title in Geneva, Ohio with a total score of 101.50 — out-pacing second place Nebraska that scored a total of 93.50.
The Ohio State team won the gold in several events and even had current Ohio State cornerback Kendall Sheffield chip in with a silver medal in the 60-meter dash.
The last time the OSU track team won the league title was all the way back in 1993.
It’s the Buckeyes’ sixth Big Ten Championship in track and field.
