Ohio State Wins Second-Straight Big Ten Wrestling Tournament Title

Ohio State has won another Big Ten tournament wrestling championship — its second in a row, and third in four years by a score of 164.5 to Penn state’s total of 148.

The Buckeyes went into the day ahead of Penn State 137.5 to to 124 and cemented the title when No. 1 seed Kollin Moore beat Shakur Rasheed of Penn State 8-4 in the 197 lb. weight class.

Ohio State will  now send ten wrestlers to the nationals in Cleveland, OH March 15-17.

To cap it off, Kyle Snyder avenged his only loss in years both internationally and in college by taking the heavyweight title in 4 overtimes over Adam Coon 4-2.

Now OSU has as good a shot as anyone at bringing home the national championship.
