Ohio State Gets Another Shot To Make Michigan Maize And Blue In Hockey

There’s never a bad time to beat That School Up North. Whether it be football, basketball, tidily winks or underwater basket weaving, there’s nothing more gratifying than beating the Maize and Blue … yet again.

Well, then it’s a shot at another banner day if you are a Buckeye fan tomorrow. Why is that you say? Well, the Wolverines are traveling to Columbus to go toe-to-toe with the Buckeyes in hockey — this time in Nationwide Arena.

You see, the high school wrestling playoffs are taking place in the Schottenstein Center, so that means it’ll be college hockey in an NHL stadium, and the stakes couldn’t be much higher. The loser in the one-game elimination format goes home, the other goes on to play for the tournament title.

In previous matchups this year, Ohio State has already swept Michigan in the previous four contests by a combined score of 17-6, but the Wolverines are playing better here as of late.

Let’s hope the trip back to Ann Arbor is yet another sour Scarlet and Gray taste in the mouth of those Wolverines.

Game time is 7:30 PM Eastern on BTN.
