Ohio State Will Face Another White Out In Happy Valley This Year

Death, taxes, political unrest and white out conditions at night when Ohio State comes to Happy Valley.

Some things are just given apparently. Penn State announced that its home game against Ohio State on September 29 will again be in front of a “white-out” home crowd in the dark of the night.

If we look at the history of OSU vs. Penn State in Beaver Stadium, it’s hard to remember a game that wasn’t in front of a white out crowd at night. In fact, the last time the Buckeyes traveled to Central Pennsylvania and didn’t have to deal with students rockin’ out to Zombie Nation was all the way back in 2010.

So yeah, this will make the fourth straight affair in which OSU will be going into a literal Lion’s Den. The same occurred in 2012, 2014 and 2016. Overall, both teams are 2-2 all-time in white-out games.

What’s more, the game is earlier than most years and will most certainly test whomever wins the QB battle, and could set the tone for the East division race.
