Ohio State Men’s Volleyball Advances To NCAA Round Of Six

Take that NCAA.

Ohio State was a bit surprised to have to appear in the play-in game just to get to the round of six, but had no problem disposing of No. 7 seed King at St. John Arena to move onto the round of six in the NCAA men’s volleyball tournament.

Despite being regarded as the No. 5 seed, because of logistics and travel, the Buckeyes were relegated to the play-in game. The Buckeyes made quick work of King 25-13, 25-23, 25-18, and will now head to the West Coast to play UC Irvine in at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Tuesday at 8:00 PM.

If OSU can get by the Anteaters, it’ll then go on to the championship bracket face No. 1 seed Long Beach State just two days later, with the championship match being held on May 5.
