Ohio State Men’s Tennis Wins Its Third B1G Championship In A Row

In what is starting to become an annual tradition of sorts, the No. 3 ranked Ohio State men’s tennis team swept Illinois 4-0 to take its third-straight Big Ten tournament title in Iowa City this weekend.

The win marks not only three-straight, but a league tournament championship in eleven of the past thirteen years. With the win, the Buckeyes improved to 29-2 and added its thirteenth Big Ten Championship overall. They finished 14-0 against within the Big Ten itself this year.

Ohio State now awaits its fate in the NCAA tournament where it hasn’t quite been able to grab the ultimate prize despite being a consistent top five program over the last few years.

The selection show takes place Tuesday at 6PM Eastern.
