Kyle Snyder Named To The President’s Council On Sports, Fitness & Nutrition

We’ve been spoiled by the exploits of former Ohio State All-American and World Champion heavy weight wrestler Kyle Snyder.

Sometimes you get a little biased in your own little world with how good a guy is, but now he’s gone downright presidential. Yesterday, Snyder announced his selection by president Donald Trump to be on the President’s Council On Sports, Fitness & Nutrition.

And in case you didn’t know that existed, welcome to the club. The council was formed in 1960 and is aimed on getting Americans (namely youth) to live a lifestyle that incorporates fitness and nutrition.

It’s just a nomination, but it’s highly likely that all the nominations for the council are a mere formality. The proposed chairs of the council include Mariano Rivera, Misty May-Trainor and Herschel Walker.

Here’s the part of the release by the White House that deals with the committee:

  • Mariano Rivera of New York
