Ohio State Baseball Is No. 7 Seed In B1G Baseball Tourney

The Ohio State baseball team lost two out of three on the road in East Lansing, but it now gets a chance to bolster its postseason resume by making a run in the Big Ten baseball tournament.

The middle of the Big Ten is so jumbled up that the Buckeyes entered the last weekend regular season tied for fourth place in the league, only to fall all the way to the No. 7 seed after losing a just a couple.

However, Ohio State still sits in pretty good shape when it comes to getting a shot at the NCAA tournament, but it can’t afford to lose straight out of the gate against No. 2 Purdue to make things interesting.

The Boilermakers have been on a tear lately, going on an incredible run of winning 18 of its last 20 games to catapult up the Big Ten standings into second place.

If there’s good news for Ohio State, it’s the fact that the two losses came at the hands of the Scarlet and Gray at home just a week ago. Now the two will tussle again in TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha on Wednesday at 1 PM Eastern. The game will be carried by BTN.
