Boom! Four-Star Safety Jordan Battle Commits to Ohio State

Did you expect anything less around the 4th of July?

Ohio Sate got another big-time verbal commitment today with the announcement by four-star safety Jordan Battle that he will be heading to play for Urban Meyer at Ohio State. He is rated as the No. 12 safety in the country, and No. 171 rated player in the country — but that has been rising quickly.

The 6-1, 187 pounder is yet another player from the famed St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida that the Buckeyes have targeted — and landed — lately. He joins Damon Arnette, Nick and Joey Bosa, Trevon Grimes and Duron Carter as players that have all made the trip north to play for Ohio State.

Battle’s commitment makes brings the number of players that have verbally committed to the 2019 class to 13 total, and continues the momentum of climbing the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings, bringing the Buckeyes up No. 5.

Michigan is currently No. 7, and Penn State is No. 24. We just thought you should know.
