TBT Team With Ohio State Ties Sets Up GoFundMe Page

You all remember The Basketball Tournament right? It’s the tournament that pays $2 Million for the winning team, and launched the NCAA’s copy-cat way of having players advance their teams to the next round.

We saw team Scarlet & Gray make a run to the final four of the tournament last year, and we’ve already seen another team entry with Ohio State ties get on board to play in the Midwest bracket in Columbus this season.

That’s right, Big X, made up of former Ohio State and Michigan players is heading to a campus near you to try and prove it too can earn the money, but first it needs money.

The team is made up of former Buckeye players Andrew Dakich, Kam Williams, Jae’Sean Tate, as well as other players from Michigan and beyond, and it thinks it can make a deep run.

Well, now you too can help them make that run by contributing to its GoFundMe Page to cover the costs of travel and meals. While other teams are bank-rolled by former and current pros, this one is not, and it turns out it can be a little costly trying to figure all the logistics out.

Big X is set to tip off its tournament play as the No. 4 seed in the Midwest bracket on July 21 at 10 AM at Capital University in Columbus.
