Ohio State Football: Parris Campbell On Paul Hornung Award Preseason Watch List

The Louisville Sports Commission announced its Paul Hornung Award Preseason Watch List today with the inclusion of Ohio State H-Back Parris Campbell.

The Hornung Award was first handed out in 2010 and goes to the most versatile college football player in the country. Last year’s recipient was Saquon Barkley of Penn State, and no Ohio State player has taken home the hardware.

Campbell is arguably one of the fastest players in all of college football, but dealt with concussion protocol issues last year. He’s arguably the offenses most dynamic player when healthy and returns for his senior season to anchor a deep, seasoned and talented wide-receiving corps.

Like many other awards, The Paul Hornung Award will be handed out during the Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Dec. 6.
