Ohio State got yet another verbal commitment today. This time from three-start tight end Cormontae Hamilton out of Tennessee.
Boom! Three-Star Tight End Cormontae Hamilton Commits to Ohio State For 2019
Three-star tight end out of Memphis Tennessee announced his commitment to Ohio State today via Twitter.
The 6-2, 263 pounder is rated as the No. 30 tight end in the country and 718th rated recruit in the country. And while the ratings from 247Sports might not make some enemies shake in their cleats (or khakis), Ohio State no doubt believes they’ve found someone it can develop that might even get some time at H-back.
Hamilton also held offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Louisville and others, so don’t be surprised if his star rating rises through the fall.
With the news, Ohio State’s class of 2019 now sits at fifteen members strong and is rated as the No. 6 class in the country. It remains as the best in the Big Ten.
Urban Meyer and staff are a little behind where they have been in recent years, but if past history is any indication, they’ll close strong and be somewhere around the top three.
