Ohio State Football Released The Names Of Its Captains For The 2018 Season

Ohio State named its captains for the 2018 season today. All told, this year’s team will have seven total captains. They are:

Senior WR, Parris Campbell
Junior Safety, Jordan Fuller
Senior WR, Johnnie Dixon
Junior DE, Nick Bosa
Senior WR, Terry McLaurin
Senior Offensive Tackle, Isaiah Prince
Sophomore LB, Tuf Borland

Of note are the two sophomores Tuf Borland. More often than not, Ohio State has selected upper-classmen as captains, but it’s apparent that Borland has earned the respect of their peers as under-classman and could have a chance to be a three-time captain.

There are also three senior wide-receivers in the group with Parris Campbell Terry McLaurin, and Johnnie Dixon. The expectations are high for the deep, talented and seasoned wide-outs.

Ohio State begins its season on September 1 against Oregon State. It’s almost time folks …
