Best All-Time Season

2000 – While this topic isn’t settled at some institutions, it’s clear that the 2000 campaign was the best in Oregon State history. The Beavers went 11-1 that season, closing out the year with a Civil War victory over No. 5 Oregon and a 41-9 blowout over No. 10 Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. The lone blemish that season was a 33-30 to Washington — which should have played for the BCS Championship (since it beat the one-loss team that beat No. 2 Florida State).

Best Player Of All-Time

Brandin Cooks, WR, 2013 – Cooks was virtually unstoppable in 2013. Even though everyone in the stadium knew that the Beavers were going to throw him the ball, Cooks practically re-wrote the OSU record book. He caught 128 passes for 1,720 yards (both Pac-12 records) and 16 touchdowns. He also cracked the 200-yard barrier twice in league play. Not surprisingly, he won the Biletnikoff Award that season.
