Okay, okay, I know it means about as much as a fancy bridge over flat land, but the Amway Coaches Poll is out after week one, and there are some changes since actual games have been played.

One of those changes involves Ohio State dropping a spot from No. 3 to No. 4 despite putting up the second most yards in program history while destroying a Power Five team 77-31.

Meanwhile, the Georgia Bulldogs switched spots from No. 4 to No. 3 with Ohio State by beating back FCS juggernaut Austin Peay 45-0. In case you are wondering, ESPN doesn’t even allow you to scroll over the Governors logo to go to the dedicated Austin Peay clubhouse.

At least someone gave Ohio State a first place vote this week.

Anyway, here is the rest of the Amway Coaches Poll, with first-place votes in parentheses:

  1. Alabama (59)
  2. Clemson (3)
  3. Georgia
  4. Ohio State (1)
  5. Oklahoma
  6. Wisconsin
  7. Auburn
  8. Notre Dame
  9. Stanford
  10. Penn State

  19. Boise State
  20. UCF
  21. Miami
  22. Michigan
  23. Oklahoma State

Dropped Out: No. 19 Florida State
