Braxton Miller was cut by the Houston Texans just last week, but that doesn’t always mean a guy’s career is over, especially a guy with the athletic talents of former Ohio State star Braxton Miller.

Per a report by Patrick Starr of State of the Texans website, Miller has landed a workout with the Arizona Cardinals, and if everything goes well, could be signed soon.

Miller was a standout dual-threat quarterback at Ohio State before lingering shoulder injuries forced him to move to the wide-receiver position for his senior season. Despite showing flashes of brilliance because of his athletic ability, he never really became a big part of the offense in Columbus.

But that didn’t stop the Texans from taking a chance on a guy with the raw skills of Miller. In two seasons with Houston, he caught 34 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns.

In order to fit in the 53-man roster, the Cardinals would likely need to make a move by either cutting one of its five already on the team, or release someone from another position.
