Ohio State Vs. TCU Preview And Prediction - Week 3

Week three brings us the Buckeyes’ first real challenge of the 2018 season. While Ohio State has looked as good as advertised, the matchup against the Horned Frogs in their own back yard will give us a better picture.

The Buckeyes have taken care of business in the first two weeks — as expected — but a contest against TCU will be a much stiffer test.

One more game until we can officially welcome Urban Meyer back to the sideline. With that said, Ryan Day has done an outstanding job filling in for Meyer. The team has looked focused and prepared, and the play-calling has been almost flawless. That will need to continue as the Bucks head to Dallas to face a talented Horned Frogs team.

TCU is off to a nice start to the 2018 season, outscoring opponents 97-19, although one of those opponents is Southern University, an FCS school. Nonetheless, Gary Patterson’s squad has played with a high level of intensity. Patterson  is one of the best coaches in college football (and underappreciated at that) and you can bet he’ll have his team ready for the Buckeyes.
