Ohio State head basketball coach Chris Holtmann already has one of the nation’s top rated recruiting classes for 2019, but he’s not done. There’s still room for at least one more to round things out, and he could be close to hearing about one of the Buckeyes’ top targets.

That’s because four-star power forward E.J. Liddell out of Belleville, Illinois took to Twitter last night to announce his final three, and Ohio State is one of them.

Ohio State already has five-star point guard D.J. Carton and four-star power forward and top Ohio recruit Alonzo Gaffney as a verbal for the class, and adding the nation’s No. 47 rated player overall (No. 10 power forward) would only boost the country’s No. 7 rated class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The 6-7, 220 pound Lidell’s Twitter update says a decision should be coming soon, and for what it’s worth, the 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions have him as an 86% Ohio State lean.
