Ohio State Remains No. 4 In AP Poll After Big Win Against TCU

It didn’t come as easy as the first two weeks, but Ohio State got a big win against a quality opponent to bolster its post-season resume. The Buckeyes remained No. 4 in the latest AP Poll.

TCU put a scare into Ohio State for about three quarters before the Buckeyes defense got things together and the talent and depth paved the way to a 40-28 victory.

It was a gut check for this Buckeye squad after sailing through the first two weeks, and we learned a lot about the 2018 team — most of it good. In response, the AP poll came out and kept Ohio State at No. 4, which is probably about right at this point.

It’s all about building a body of work, and the win over TCU at a neutral site in Texas is a good feather to put in the cap when it comes down to the College Playoff Committee dissecting hairs.
