Guess who’s back?

Urban Meyer returns to the Ohio State sideline fresh out of the penalty box and the Buckeyes are looking to continue their momentum against Tulane as they prepare for even more meaningful matchups in the very, very near future.

Here’s five things to watch as OSU welcomes the Green Wave from Nawlins.

Who Steps Up On The Defensive Line?

In case you missed the news, Nick Bosa underwent surgery today to fix a core muscle injury. There’s no timetable for his return, and no more specifics offered up other than that.

In the present, that means he’ll miss this week’s game for sure, and probably a hand full of others. That means someone has to step up on the defensive line in his absence. We saw Dre’Mont Jones have himself a game — being named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week against TCU, but this is about building for future games.

Chase Young has been fantastic so far this year, but it’ll be Jonathon Cooper who will back-fill the loss of Bosa. He needs to come up big, but so do the rest of the talented and deep defensive linemen.

The Buckeyes College Football Playoff lives depend on it.
