The Big Ten has a rich bowl history and that looks to continue with all the tie-ins and quality teams available this year. We’ll revisit this every week, but here’s where things stand after week 4 when things really started to get going in conference play.

It’s still not time to criticize and panic here after just a few weeks of the season gone. These projections can — and will — change as the season progresses.

The same caveats all pertain here that we’ve been saying. Keep in mind that these scenarios are very complicated with projecting when there’s not enough teams from certain conferences with tie-ins, and the agreements with bowls to not repeat the same program over a certain time-frame if at all possible.

We’ll revisit it every week, so stay with us. Here we go for week four — a week in which we started to get heavy with in-conference matchups.
