The matchups between Ohio State and Penn State have been rather epic the last three years, and there’s another one sitting on the doorstep, knocking to leave its next mark.

Penn State head coach James Franklin had his weekly press conference Tuesday and took reporters’ questions to preview what should be a whale of a matchup in front of a white out crowd Saturday night.

If you missed any of his comments, you can watch it in its entirety here, but we’ve got some highlights for you:

  • Franklin complimented coach Ryan Day, says he has known him for a long time and has respect for him.
  • Nick Bosa is one of the best players Franklin has ever seen of film. He is big and athletic but has a motor to go with it. He has a ton of respect for what Nick and his family have done on the field with the game of football. This was in response to what the Buckeyes will miss from not having him in the lineup.
  • An urging and plea for Nittany Nation to show up Saturday in full force was laid down.
  • Every game is prepared for with the same mindset, but there’s no doubt the players and those around the program are hearing about how big this game is.
  • Franklin complimented Dwayne Haskins and his ability to get the ball out quickly. He commended the talent and players around him making his job that much easier.
