There’s not much more we can say to hype this thing up even more. Truth be known, when Ohio State fans looked at the schedule, most looked to see when the Buckeyes traveled to Happy Valley.

The Michigan game is always the biggest on the schedule, but with what both teams had coming back, it felt like this one could be the pivotal game of the Big Ten season in 2018.

It still may be despite the early season meeting, with both teams undefeated at 4-0 and on track for really big things.

There’ll be many ebbs and flows in this one, but the team that can consistently execute for four quarters will be the team standing at the end. For Ohio State, here’s three keys to victory.

Establish The Run

Ohio State won’t abandon the pass with what Dwayne Haskins has been able to do this year, but it would be well-advised to break the seal on J.K. Dobbins and Mike Weber in this one.

Ohio State’s offensive line has a bit of an advantage up front against the Penn State defensive line, and what better way to establish who the tougher and more physical team is in this one than gashing the Penn State defense on the ground.

The Nittany Lions gave up 245 yards on the ground to Illinois, and taking it straight at the pride of a defense that’s still trying to find itself might just be what the doctor ordered to quiet down the whiteout crowd and make this a business trip.

Once the run is in full swing, things then open up for Haskins to bomb away.
