Ohio State is fresh off its huge win in Happy Valley, and now it’s on to business as it moves forward with a very clear path to some pretty amazing things in 2018.

To have some of those goals come to fruition however, the Buckeyes cannot afford a letdown like the one it experienced in Iowa City last year. Indiana comes calling this week and it’s literally been thirty years since the Hoosiers beat Ohio State.

Here’s five things to watch as Ohio State and Indiana get ready to tussle in Columbus.

Can Dwayne Haskins Get Back On Track In The Passing Game?

Penn State had a formidable game plan against an Ohio State offense that had been putting up points in bushels. It brought heat in Haskins face, then fought hard to cover up the deep ball. For the most part it worked.

Haskins struggled in the first half. Because of the pressure, he had to work to find open receivers with little time, rushed through progressions and often threw the ball off the mark — at least compared to what he had done so far in 2018.

He found a little magic in the second half but it was more with screen passes and quick check downs. The vertical game was pretty much non-existent all game.

Ohio State is a much more dangerous team with the threat of the deep ball and Haskins needs to gain his confidence back a little against the Hoosiers so that things can take off later in the year.
