As we said in last week’s preview and prediction, we expected Ohio State to come out a little sluggish after an emotional and physical win at Penn State. It took the Bucks until the second half to pull away from a pesky Hoosier team.

The defense still seemed to be lost at times. The secondary continued to give up chunks of yardage through the air. Ohio State plays a man defense as it believes they have the athletes to compete with anyone in the country.

However, if the front four aren’t getting pressure in the backfield, it can really leave the defensive backs exposed. Ironically, the D-line got more pressure on the quarterback in the second half and the secondary all of the sudden looked better.

Now P.J. Fleck brings his Golden Gophers to town, winless in the Big Ten.
