Is Tate Martell Trying To Recruit Former USC Safety Bubba Bolden To Ohio State?

After Tate Martell committed to Ohio State in the summer of 2016 he was not quiet about trying to bring other recruits with him. Not much has changed two years later.

Bubba Bolden, a former four-star safety, recently announced he was leaving USC after being accused of violating portions of the student code of conduct. Accusations he adamantly denies. Either way, Bolden will be looking for a new place to call home and Tate Martell has sent an early invite to Columbus.

Martell and Bolden are former teammates at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas., and this isn’t the first time Martell tried to get his high school buddy to join him in the Scarlet and Gray.

Bolden was high on the Buckeyes radar while being recruited by many big name programs. Martell decided to get in on the recruitment when he started the #BubbaToOSU social media movement. Ultimately, Bubba chose his own path at USC, but that relationship has ended and Martell is happy to offer Columbus as great place to start over.

There will be plenty of offers coming to the former No. 7 nationally ranked safety. Where he lands remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure… Tate Martell will keep the Buckeyes at the forefront of Bubba Bolden’s mind.
