Every week, the Ohio State coaching staff identifies players of the game. Although the Buckeyes appear to have struggled a bit against Minnesota, there were still players worthy of selection.

On offense, it was wide receiver K.J. Hill. He had a career day with 187 yards and two touchdowns on nine receptions (20.8 ypc). He also had one fantastic end zone celebration.

The defensive player of the game was Jordan Fuller. He had 12 total tackles, nine of them solo, and many that kept even more big plays from occurring.

Lastly, on special teams, Blake Haubeil — filling in for Sean Nuernberger — was named player of the game. He went 3 for 3 on FG attempts with a long of 47 yards. He also went 3 for 3 on extra points.
