This past weekend might have been the most interesting one of the year in the Big Ten. And while that’s a wonderful thing for drama and interest, it sure makes the job of stack ranking the teams that much more difficult.

Here’s our Big Ten Football Power Rankings after week seven. Get in on the action and let us know where you agree or disagree by contacting us on Twitter or Facebook.

14. Rutgers (14 last week)

Same old news. Nothing to see here. Literally. There is really nothing to see here.

13. Nebraska (13 last week)

Welcome to Lincoln where an almost victory over the Northwestern Wildcats is a sign of progress. It might be, but the sad tale is that this is the worst start in Nebraska history. Let that sink in …

12. Illinois (12 last week)

The Illini are definitely looking better, but there was only one way to go but up. This young team is maturing and many think a bowl game might be in the future. Let’s not get crazy here folks.

11. Minnesota (10 last week)

Minnesota put a solid effort together on the road in Columbus, and if this is the eleventh ranked team in the conference, then there’s plenty of depth in the heartland. The Gophers might be a tough out for any of the big boys that come calling through the remainder of the season.
