It’s time once again to assess where we are with the pecking order of the teams in the Big Ten. Things have been more inconsistent week to week in the league than we can remember in a long, long time. But one team is starting to tower over the rest.

Here’s our Big Ten Football Power Rankings after week ten. Get in on the action and let us know where you agree or disagree by contacting us on Twitter or Facebook.

14. Rutgers (14 last week)

At this point, the season is one in which turning the page and looking to move towards next year is where its at. The Scarlet Knights did look motivated against Wisconsin, but it’s still another loss.

13. Indiana (11 last week)

The Hoosiers were on a bye, but when you start stacking up how they’ve looked against opponents in previous weeks and what we’re seeing from them as the weeks progress, the slide has started.

12. Minnesota (10 last week)

I feel like we should be more critical of the Gophers. We’re not really seeing consistent efforts on a week to week basis, and this team is unlikely to go bowling now. Getting steamrolled by the Illini is cause for concern.

11. Illinois (13 last week)

Don’t look now but the Illini now have four wins and can go bowling if they can find a way to win two of the next three games. There’s clearly some talent on this roster if it can just find a way to change the culture and expect to win.
