This has been one crazy football season in the Big Ten. We have a West Division champion that just became bowl eligible in mid-November, and the middle of the league has been like a little league soccer match — an amoeba of humanity all squashed together, hard to decipher one from the other.

Here’s our Big Ten Football Power Rankings after week eleven. Get in on the action and let us know where you agree or disagree by contacting us on Twitter or Facebook.

14. Rutgers (14 last week)

No change here. We may not know much, but it’s at least clear that the Scarlet Knights are at the bottom of the pile of the Big Ten. On to next year?

13. Illinois (11 last week)

There’s clearly more talent on this Illini squad than the last couple of years, but there’s still a culture of inconsistency. A bowl is unlikely now with the loss this past week, but there’s hope for the future.

12. Indiana (10 last week)

Just when we thought the Hooisers were dead, they find a way to eek one out at home against Maryland. Bowl hopes are still alive, but this there’s still work to do to gain respect.

11. Maryland (13 last week)

I guess you had to expect the off-the-field stuff to finally take a toll, and that might just be what happened with the loss to an Indiana team that had tanked since Big Ten play began. The remaining two weeks is likely a job interview for acting head coach Matt Canada.
