Despite beating a ranked Michigan State team on the road, Ohio State got no traction in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings, still coming in at No. 10.

There’s only two weeks left in the regular season and time is running out on any team’s ability to catapult up the College Football Rankings to make it into the top four.

Plug Ohio State in that same bucket.

That’s because despite beating a Top 20 Michigan State team on the road last week by twenty points, it still remained at No. 10 in the latest CFP Rankings.

Ahead of Ohio State are one-loss teams West Virginia (9), Washington State (8), Oklahoma (6), Georgia (5), and Michigan (4), but also ahead of the Buckeyes is a two-loss LSU (7) team that struggled to get by two-win Arkansas.

The top three in the poll remain Alabama (1), Clemson (2), and Notre Dame (3).

But never fear Buckeye fans. If Ohio State wins out, there’s plenty of big boys still to play each other that would potentially slide below Ohio State, and with a top five Michigan squad lurking and a potential Big Ten Championship game, there’s résumé builders still out there.

Here’s the complete College Football Playoff Poll:
