Just a few weeks after Ohio State came out in all Black against Nebraska, the Buckeyes will again change things up in the uniform department. This choice, however, will be far less controversial.
Ohio State plays Michigan in The Game on Nov. 24, and when the Bucks come out of the tunnel they’ll again be wearing alternate unis.
Ohio State has opted to wear alternates for the Michigan game seven out of the past nine years dating back to 2009. The looks have varied, but all the contests have resulted in a W for the Buckeyes.
Many fans have clamored for the Bucks to stay traditional for the game against TTUN, while others love the alternate look. This one should please both sides as the team will come out in a traditional throwback, paying homage to the 50 year anniversary of the 1968 national championship squad.
This look should also be familiar as the one Ohio State wore as they rolled to a 2014 national title over Oregon. We at BuckeyeWire ranked this look our favorite in our Top Five Ohio State Alternate Uniforms a few months back.
These look sharp and we can’t wait to see them on the field as the team takes on No. 4 Michigan in Columbus.
