After blasting Michigan, Ohio State is now set to take on Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship Game Saturday night. Though OSU is highly favored, the Wildcats are not to be taken lightly.

Still, here’s three reasons why the Buckeyes come away victorious when the confetti starts to fall.

The Offense Will Score Points In Bunches

If there’s been one thing that’s been mostly consistent this year, it’s been the ability of Ohio State’s offense to move the chains and score points. Yeah, there’s been a few hiccups here and there, but the Buckeyes are the nation’s No. 2 rated offense for a reason.

Northwestern has a solid, not spectacular defense, but there’s no scenario I can see to where the Wildcats can hold the Buckeye offense down for too long. They are hitting on all cylinders right now, and if Pat Fitzgerald and company are going to pull off a shocker, it’ll likely have to score more points than we’ve seen them do all year.
