Urban Meyer is retiring and will ride off into the sunset after the Rose Bowl. He’s been the head coach in Columbus for seven seasons and left the program in great shape with a slew of great memories for many.
We asked our writers to come up with their fondest of these Urban Moments, and here’s what we came up with …

For me it has to be Urban going head-to-head with Nick Saban in the in the 2014 Sugar Bowl. It was a battle not only between the Buckeyes and Tide, but between two of the top all-time college football coaches.
What a titanic battle it turned out to be and has to be right up there with Urban’s top coaching jobs. Ohio State being down to a third string quarterback and most of the talent was so young. The Buckeyes weren’t supposed to be in this position until the following year. But Meyer, being the master motivator, got his guys to believe. And believe they did.
It never gets old re-living that game and “85 yards through the heart of the south”.
