Who says Ohio State is a running school? In a season for the ages, Dwayne Haskins has now passed for a total of fifty touchdowns — with still another half to go in Pasadena to add to that total.

The fiftieth was a 1-yard pass to tight end Rashod Berry to end the first-half with a 21-3 lead over Washington. The total of fifty ties former Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford for second all-time in a season for a power five school. The all-time leader in a single season is B.J Symons from Texas Tech in 2003.

For the half, Haskins is 17-24 for 163 yards and three touchdowns. Initially Washington did a good job of keeping the big pass plays to a minimum, but Haskins has settled in and has begun to pick the vaunted secondary apart. Coming into the game, Washington has only allowed nine passing touchdowns total.
