The final college football AP Poll is out and Ohio State has finished No. 3 behind No. 1 Clemson and No. 2 Alabama.
It’s the fifth time in seven seasons the Buckeyes finished in the top five under Urban Meyer, and the twelfth time in seventeen years. All total, Ohio State has finished in the top five of the AP Poll twenty-seven times.
It’s the highest finish for a team that is continuously on the College Football Playoff bubble since 2014 when the Buckeyes won the national championship.
It was an up and down season, but one with many more highs than lows, and it says something that a No 3 finish that includes a Big Ten East title, Big Ten and Rose Bowl Championship, and win over Michigan isn’t enough.
On to next year boys …
