Ohio State wrestling dominates Michigan Sate to move to 7-0

The Ohio State wrestling team dropped the first bout Sunday, but went on to win the final nine to dominate Michigan State on the way to a 37-4 dual meet victory. With the win, the No. 2 Buckeyes improved to 7-0.

No. 8 ranked Rayvon Foley started things off great for the Spartans in the 125 lb. weight class with a 19-6 win, scoring four points out of the gate, but from there Ohio State took control.

Luke Pletcher defeated Michigan State’s Anthony Tutolo 5-4 in a hard-fought overtime bout to give pull the Buckeyes to within 4-3, then went on to run the table in the next eight bouts.

Ohio State is in action again Friday, January 25 when it hosts undefeated, and No. 6 ranked Michigan. There might be a little interest in that one, so get to the Schott if you can.
